Safety at Bonza.Chat
Date of Revision: 10/07/2026
Introduction
Bonza.Chat is an adult service. Being an adult service does not make it an unmoderated one, and we think the people who use it — and the people who decide whether to work with us — are entitled to know exactly where the limits are and how they are enforced.
This page is the short version. Everything on it links to the document that actually binds us, so there is never a “friendly summary” quietly saying something different from the policy.
1. What we believe
Adults, and only adults. Everyone here is 18 or over. Nothing that involves, sexualises or resembles a minor is permitted, in any form, ever. This is the one rule with no judgement call attached to it.
Real people are not material. Our companions are fictional. We do not permit content built to depict an identifiable real person, and if something we generated resembles you, we will take it down — see our Content Removal Policy.
Prevention beats takedown. The strongest moderation is the kind that stops something being made at all, rather than finding it afterwards. Most of our effort goes there. How that works.
It is obviously AI. We do not pretend a companion is a human being, and we do not want anyone else to either. See our AI Transparency statement.
Say what we actually do. We would rather describe our moderation plainly, including the parts that are automated and the parts that get it wrong, than claim a standard we do not meet.
2. What we will never allow
Our Blocked Content Policy is the complete list. These are the lines that are never a matter of interpretation:
- Anything involving minors. Content that involves, sexualises or resembles a person under 18 — including attempts to produce it by working around our controls. Accounts are terminated without warning and reported where we are required or permitted to. See our Underage Policy.
- Real, identifiable people. Including public figures, and including content presented as a genuine recording of a real event.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Sexual content involving animals.
- Content promoting violence, terrorism, self-harm or suicide.
- Content promoting hatred against people on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or disability.
3. How it is enforced
In short: messages are classified before they reach the model, images can only be built from a fixed set of options we control, generated media is reviewed before it appears anywhere public, and our support team reviews flagged cases daily.
The mechanics, including where automated moderation gets it wrong and what we do about that, are set out in How moderation works. What happens to an account that breaks the rules is in our Community Guidelines.
4. Telling us about something
If you see something that breaks these rules, if a companion behaves in a way that concerns you, or if you feel unsafe, email support@bonza.chat. Reports reach our moderation team and are included in the daily review.
Reports involving minors are urgent — please say so in the subject line. To have content depicting you removed, use our Content Removal Policy. For anything else, our Complaint Policy sets out the process and the timescales.
